Houston's Only Singing DJ and Houston Comets Announcer, Dana Jackson has been added as our game announcer.

We've added $25 Priority Seating. Priority Seating includes first 2 rows center court seating + team photo.
Priority Seating tickets will be available beginning, April 10, 2008.

The Inaugural Lynette Woodard Legends All-Star Charity Weekend Classic™
will be held in Houston, Texas.

This event will benefit the Lynette Woodard Power Forward Scholarship™ fund and
The Lynette Woodard Youth Sports & Education Foundation™.

The Lynette Woodard Power Forward Scholarship™ rewards female athletes who are active participants or active members of an organized high school, middle school, or AAU girl’s basketball team with financial assistance to help further her academic and athletic goals.

The Lynette Woodard Rebound Scholarship™ awards females 35 years+ who are in pursuit of a degree later in life.

The Lynette Woodard Youth Sports & Education Foundation™ is designed to educate, empower and inspire youth toward educational excellence and achievement. The core focus of the foundation is education & empowerment. We facilitate these goals through educational programs that promote financial literacy, fitness & nutrition, college preparation, moral & success empowerment, entrepreneurial concepts, mentoring and reading. Through our sports and education programs we offer youth hope and possibilities as we encourage them to dream and show them how to transform their dreams into achievable realities.

In addition we will also donate sporting equipment to X-Treme Heat Girls Basketball Team™

X-Treme Heat Girls Basketball Team™ is a non-profit organization that provides academic support, personal development programs and sports training to girls who would otherwise be unable to participate in athletics or excel academically. X-Treme Heat assists unrecognized, undeveloped and unrecruited athletes prepare for the SAT, college entry and secure college athletic scholarships.
